Lessons

Please see this FAQ about lessons, harps, and getting a harp of your own.

Lessons at my private studio in Dayton, Minnesota are currently on a waitlist. Contact Me if you would like you or your child to be put on the waitlist and I will let you know when I have open availability.

I now offer harp and piano lessons for all ages through the Mount Calvary Academy of Music in Excelsior, Minnesota. Contact them directly through the link, or you can also Contact Me to inquire.

I’m thrilled to offer harp lessons to students of all ages and levels. No musical background or experience is necessary! Whether you’ve never seen a harp before, or have been playing for many years, I would love to be your teacher!

Despite my background, I do not push my students beyond their own interests and goals. While some students are looking to reach an advanced or professional level, many students are simply looking for an enjoyable hobby, or to perform at church from time to time. I tailor every lesson to each individual student, taking their interests and goals into consideration while preparing the best pieces and exercises for their progress. It’s my number one goal to ensure that the student always looks forward to and enjoys their lessons, while still progressing and improving.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning the harp, I would love to discuss all the particulars with you! From what to expect in lessons, to the best ways to get a harp of your own for practicing at home. I’m happy to be a fount of helpful information, and to do what I can to help you decide if harp lessons are right for you. But first, be sure to check out this FAQ to learn a bit more about lessons, harps, and what to expect when you start looking for a harp of your own!

Please feel free to Contact Me with any and all questions you might have! I look forward to hearing from you!
